For Birth Doulas
Free timer apps are made for the person in labor. Here is what changes when the timer is built for you, the doula.

A free timer app times one labor, on one phone. As a doula you support several clients at once, often with due dates a few days apart. BirthLink puts all of them on one dashboard, so you see who is timing right now without opening anything else.
Asking a woman in early labor to find, download and set up an app is one more task at the wrong moment. With BirthLink you send her a link. She opens it on her phone and taps when a contraction starts and ends.
With a regular timer you usually find out when she calls or sends a screenshot. With BirthLink you can open her live view at any moment, and if you turn on alerts, your phone can also tell you when she starts timing and when contractions get closer together.
Doulas who use free timers often mention that the time between contractions is easy to misread, and that it confuses families. BirthLink shows the rest between contractions clearly, with the pattern over the last hour.
A screen that goes quiet can mean she is resting, that she is already at the hospital, or that she simply stopped. With BirthLink she can tap "I've stopped timing", so you are not left guessing.
On BirthLink Live you pay only when you have a birth, and births never expire. BirthLink Pro adds a card for every client, leads, a birth calendar and checkup reminders, with live contraction timing included.
